AOA FELLOWSHIPS

AOA provides a number of fellowship opportunities for newly qualified orthopaedic surgeons. Some are awarded only to AOA members, others are who have passed their SET 2 training, and for overseas-trained specialists.

• AOA fellowships are open only to AOA members and are awarded directly by AOA. 
• AOA accredited fellowships are open to recently qualified orthopaedic surgeons. Each fellowship position is accredited by AOA, but the fellowship itself is granted by the relevant supervisor and/or institution.
• International fellowships are open to all orthopaedic surgeons.
