L O BETTS MEMORIAL MEDAL

An indenture between Mrs. Beatrice Betts and the Australian Orthopaedic Association dated 1970 states:

The fund shall be administered by the Executive Officer of the Association to provide each year the medal and prize to a Fellow or trainee who shall in the opinion of the Committee have made by way of presentation of a paper or, thesis or by research or by experiment or otherwise howsoever the best contribution to the science and practice of orthopaedics in the Commonwealth of Australia or to the Association.
