Professor Graves is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in joint replacement and bone reconstruction.  He has been the Director of the Australian Orthopaedic Association National Joint Replacement Registry since it commenced in 1999.  He is also Director of Orthopaedic Research in the Department of Orthopaedics Repatriation General Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia, and Co-Director of the Flinders University Musculoskeletal Health ASRI.

He has presented and published extensively on basic musculoskeletal biology, and outcomes of clinical management of musculoskeletal conditions.  He is a member of numerous professional and Government committees.

Mr Davidson was appointed the Deputy Director of the Registry in 2005. He is an orthopaedic surgeon and was Censor in Chief 1988-1991 and a former president of the AOA (1992). Mr Davidson was presented the LO Betts Medal in 2002. He was appointed the Chairman of the Registry Committee at the commencement of the Registry in 1998 and served in this position through to the end of 2005. He works closely with the director, coordinator and staff of the Data Management and Analysis Centre with analysis, interpretation and presentation of data.

Ann Tomkins commenced her appointment with the Registry in August 2007.  Ann’s previous position was National Sales Administrator for an Australian pharmaceutical company. Prior to this Ann was employed for many years in the medical field including research administration and was involved in the preparation of the successful submission to the Federal Government to develop a National Joint Replacement Registry and subsequently assisted in setting up the NJRR Pilot Study in 1999.
