AOA CEO Adrian Cosenza today presented the Australian Consensus Framework on Ethical Collaboration in the Healthcare Sector at an APEC forum in Tokyo.
The Framework outlines the ethical principals, values and goals to which more than 50 signatories have committed, with the aim to reinforce ethical conduct in collaboration between all elements of the healthcare community.
The Framework has received the endorsement of the Federal Minister for Health and the health ministers of every Australian state and territory.
The presentation and the framework were recognised with the Lighthouse Award at the summit.
